The Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin wrote about this on his Instagram page.
“I am starting a series of visits to Kazakh IT companies in order to receive feedback and proposals for the development of the IT industry. The first was the Kazdream holding in the capital, which unites 16 IT companies.
Kazdream works in several directions, including B2B, information security, creating products for law enforcement agencies, developing Machine Learning and others. By the way, they are gradually reaching the international level - representatives of foreign companies have become interested in Kazdream products.
I noticed that the holding pays great attention to social projects and I was very impressed.
During the meeting, they told me about another of their projects - “+1 Elon Musk”. The idea is to provide every rural child with a gadget, thereby giving him the opportunity to learn. The creators of the project calculated that every year in a company of 100 people, 15 to 20 laptops are written off, which can not be disposed of, but repaired and given to a child in need. You can participate in this project not just by donating equipment, but also as a repair volunteer.
I believe that such young and responsible companies shape the future of the IT industry of Kazakhstan, and we, as a government agency, need to support them and create conditions for growth and improvement,” wrote Bagdat Musin.
